Maintaining Signature Status

All Signature Members who earned their signature status between 1979 and 2027 will be granted the title “SCWS Member of Excellence.” This is a permanent title which recognizes the achievement of having been accepted into three SCWS National Exhibitions. While the title is a permanent honor, the Board does reserve the right to revoke the title from any artist who does not conduct himself in a manner representative of the organization’s integrity, ethics, or professionalism.

An SCWS Member of Excellence will enjoy a variety of privileges including but not limited to social media promotion, individualized features on the SCWS website, discounted membership, preferential workshop registration, as well as exclusive exhibition features and awards. To have access to the full breadth of Member of Excellence benefits, an artist must hold an active SCWS membership.
