David Stickel Workshop
Plein Air Newberry
49th Annual National Exhibition
David Stickel will be teaching a watercolor workshop Wednesday, September 30 – Friday, October 2, from 9 – 4 at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. Sign ups will be opening shortly.
On Saturday, April 18, artists will choose a painting location in Newberry County, paint to their heart’s content, have their piece ready for judging by 3PM, and listen for their name to be announced at the awards ceremony at 5PM!
This year’s National Exhibition is being held in Greenville, South Carolina. It is a high-caliber, juried exhibition. Entires will be accepted on Call for Entry in May, and artwork is selected by a professional juror–this year, David Stickel.
2026 Spring Digital Prospectus
You are invited to participate in the SCWS Spring Digital Show. The entire show is online, from entry to installation. There is no in-person event to attend and no shipping is needed.
Call opens on CaFE: January 16, 2026
Call closes on CaFE: February 23, 2026 11:59PM
Accepted artists’ work and award winner posted on the SCWS site: March 13
Cost: $25; entering artists must hold active SCWS membership and a second
entry can be submitted for $10
