Check-in 9 AM on May 19. The event is open to members of SCWS with a $10 participation fee and $25 for non-members to subsidize the cost of lunch and the reception. Lunch will be a pre-prepared box artists may take with them to their painting sites. Participants must pre-register in order to be provided a lunch. Register in the form below.

Participants will fill out a participant agreement. Be prepared to provide an emergency contact name and number.
A map and list of additional painting venues will be provided at check-in.
- Deliver paintings, ready for hanging (with D-rings and wire), at 3:30 PM for judging and displaying. Paintings on paper may be entered without framing or wiring and will be displayed as determined by the Art Center. Artists will sign a statement that the work was developed on May 19 and is executed in a water media. Artists are encouraged to attend the reception and leave their paintings until after the reception.
- Exhibit, awards ceremony, and reception 5:30 PM. The public is invited.
Paint wherever you like downtown Newberry or neighboring countryside. Paintings must be in a water-based medium such as watercolor, gauche, or acrylic. No oils or water-soluble oils will be accepted into the juried awards but may be included in the show and offered for sale.
Sales will be through the individual artist; no commission will be charged on sales.
SCWS, Newberry Arts Center, and individuals affiliated with the event assume no responsibility for theft, damage, liability, or personal injury.
Parking: Park on the corner of Friend and Caldwell. It is in front of Central Methodist Church and the Library.
