MEMBERSHIP FEATURES
- Entrance into the annual exhibit. All members will be able to enter up to two images.
- Relaxed framing requirements by maintaining the integrity of the show but allowing artists more framing choices.
- Free education opportunities for members through our regional gatherings where artist instructors conduct demos, critiques, etc.
- Art advocacy with the SC Arts Commission
- Communication through our social media, newsletters, e-catalogs and group emails.
Membership Requirements
A Member is an individual that is a resident or property owner in any of the fifty United States. Membership is $60.00. Additional levels of membership include, Patron – $125.00, Donor -$150.00 or Benefactor – $200.00. Student Membership (25 or under) is $20.00.
Membership year runs January 1 though December 31st. If you join during the year at anytime, your membership will expire on December 31. Each year membership renewals for the subsequent year open on November 1.The SCWS is a nonprofit and IRS 501C3 corporation (The South Carolina Watercolor Society, Inc.) whose purpose is promoting the artistic and professional interests of its members and providing visual arts programs to the public.
