Reflecting on 50 Years

Recently our president, Victoria Alger, learned about some interesting history about the SCWS and the Myrtle Beach Art Museum from William Miller, Institutional Planning Coordinator, Myrtle Beach Art Museum. This is what he said:

“While researching history of the Museum for our 100 celebration of the Villa, I uncovered an old newsletter called the Villa Voice, Volume 3, Issue 1, May/June 1999 – an article about the SCWS show at the Museum in 1999.  See below for the article.  In light of the fact that the 2024 exhibition will be held in Myrtle Beach, this was a fun bit of history to learn!
