2011 Traveling Show Award Winners

The SC Watermedia Society, which will exhibit at the City Gallery in Charleston, SC from November 5-December 31, 2011 has chosen the top 30 paintings of the show. The show, which consists of 62 paintings chosen by a panel from the City Gallery, was reviewed by Florida artist, Mary Alice Braukman who named the top 30 paintings. Best of Show goes to Barbara Stitt of Simpsonville for “Izabella.” Stitt won $750 from TD Bank, Charleston. SCWS awarded $6800 in awards and merchandise.

Below are the list of winners who will travel the state after the exhibit through the SC State Museum’s Traveling Exhibits Program. The first line represents the ranking, name of the award or sponsor and the amount received by the artist. The second line represents the artists’ name, hometown, medium of painting, title and the list price of the painting.
